What is Hbot Therapy?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment where you breathe nearly 100% oxygen inside a pressurised chamber at more than twice normal atmospheric pressure.
Unlike oxygen carried by red blood cells alone, HBOT significantly increases the amount of oxygen dissolved directly into the blood plasma and body tissues. This helps improve oxygen delivery to areas with poor circulation, supporting tissue repair, recovery, and a wide range of medical conditions.

In normal conditions, 2–5% of oxygen diffuses from red blood cells into the surrounding tissues to supply oxygen.

HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY
Under increased pressure, plasma can carry 100% oxygen, allowing oxygen to diffuse up to three times further into the tissues.
REDUCED BLOOD FLOW

When a blood vessel becomes narrowed or blocked, red blood cells obstruct the flow and tissue oxygen levels decrease.

NEW BLOOD VESSEL FORMATION
Oxygen under pressure stimulates the formation of new blood vessels, improving circulation and delivering extra oxygen to the tissues.

ARTERIAL OXYGEN PARTIAL PRESSURE (PaO₂)
When breathing nearly 100% oxygen inside a pressurised chamber at more than twice normal atmospheric pressure, oxygen dissolved in the plasma increases by up to 10 times, arterial oxygen partial pressure (PaO₂) increases by up to 15 times, and oxygen diffusion into tissues increases by more than 3 times.
This allows oxygen to reach tissues with reduced blood flow caused by narrowed blood vessels or injury,
helping prevent tissue damage and supporting faster healing and recovery.
