What is Radiesse?

How it works

As the skin loses volume and collagen with age, wrinkles and folds may begin to appear.

Radiesse is a smooth gel that contains calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres.

When injected, it immediately restores volume to the skin and softens lines.

In the weeks following treatment, the microspheres stimulate the body to produce new collagen.

As collagen builds around the injected area, the gel and particles are gradually absorbed by the body.

Radiesse is an injectable treatment that works by stimulating the skin’s natural collagen production while also providing immediate volume and lift. Unlike traditional fillers that only fill space, Radiesse enhances skin structure over time for a firmer, more rejuvenated appearance.

To ensure your comfort, a numbing cream is applied for 15 to 30 minutes before the procedure.
Radiesse is typically diluted with saline to customize the treatment depending on your skin needs and treatment area. In some cases, lidocaine is added just before injection to further reduce discomfort during the procedure.

Following your Radiesse treatment, our team will provide clear and personalised aftercare guidance to support optimal results. Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection site is common and typically resolves within a few days.

A follow-up appointment will be scheduled approximately four weeks after your treatment to assess your progress, review skin quality improvements, and determine whether additional sessions may enhance your outcome.

Radiesse® (+) Lidocaine injectable implant is intended for plastic and reconstructive surgery, including deep dermal and sub-dermal soft tissue augmentation of the facial area and dorsum of the hands in adults. Radiesse® (+) Lidocaine injectable implant is indicated for: the treatment of nasolabial folds, marionette lines and jawline; the augmentation of cheeks; hand augmentation to correct volume loss in the dorsum of the hands; the restoration and/or correction of the signs of fat or volume loss (lipoatrophy) in the facial area and for rejuvenation of the hands fat loss (lipoatrophy) in people with human immunodeficiency virus.
