What is Co2 Laser®?
A CO2 laser uses a 10,600nm wavelength that is highly absorbed by water in the skin.
When the laser targets the skin, it generates heat that precisely vaporises unwanted tissue, allowing the controlled removal of moles, warts, and other benign skin lesions.
This precise approach helps minimise damage to surrounding healthy skin.
How Co2 Laser® Works

01 Targeting the Lesion
The CO2 laser precisely targets unwanted skin tissue, delivering controlled energy while minimising damage to the surrounding skin.

02 Precise Removal
The laser energy is absorbed by water within the targeted tissue, generating heat that gently vaporises the lesion layer by layer.

03 Skin Healing & Renewal
Following removal, the treated area gradually heals as new skin forms. Mild redness or scabbing may occur during recovery.
What Can CO2 Laser Treat?

Moles
Selected benign moles may be suitable for laser removal following clinical assessment.

Milia
Tiny white bumps caused by trapped keratin beneath the skin.

Flat Warts
Small, flat-topped viral skin growths that may appear in clusters.

Skin Tags
Small, soft skin growths commonly found around the neck, underarms, and areas of friction.

What Happens During Treatment?

During Procedure
Following CO2 laser removal, the treated skin will undergo a natural healing process. Recovery varies depending on the size, depth, and number of lesions treated.

Redness & Scabbing
Mild redness, swelling, and small scabs are common after treatment. Avoid picking or scratching the area, as this may increase the risk of scarring.

Healing & Recovery
The treated area typically heals over approximately 1–2 weeks, although deeper lesions may take longer. Some residual pinkness or redness may persist for several weeks.

At The Lab Clinic, every CO2 laser treatment begins with a personalised consultation with our experienced clinicians. We carefully assess your skin concerns, examine the targeted lesions, and determine whether CO2 laser removal is suitable for you.
We'll also discuss the treatment process, expected outcomes, and any potential risks before proceeding.
